Honors and Awards
Linda Anderson was awarded a Certificate of Commendation from Governor Tim Pawlenty in recognition of her contributions to the economy and creativity of the state of Minnesota as an author and speaker. She was awarded artist grants from the Georgia Council for the Arts and Theater Communications Group. She received the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) Outstanding Book Award for Rescued: Saving Animals from Disaster and won the USA 2006 Best Books National Book Award. She was awarded The Loft Literary Center’s Outstanding Teacher Award.
